Following the Business Appraisal a Cash Flow would be prepared to see what requirement would be needed to trade out of the situation. If this exceeds the existing facility Business Angels would investigate additional funding, allowing the management team to make firm commitments to creditors, whilst providing sufficient working capital for the business to trade profitably. Many businesses unnecessarily fail because the management team become so consumed by the cash difficulties, the profitable trading of the business and efficient management thereof fall down the priority list, thus creating a decreasing circle. Business Angels can provide a third party view, constructively working with the management team to resolve the problems faced.
