Corporate Strategy

Every business needs a direction, whether this is the Directors ultimate aim and earn-out or a significant change in current business strategy. Successful Business follows a pre-destined path, setting out targets and systems for monitoring. The Management team then needs to focus on the actual results against the budget targets and implement changes to the business to ensure the initial targets are reached or the Strategy is amended to reflect changes that were unforeseen at the time Budgets and Targets were agreed. Working under pressure often prevents the Management team from instituting the Strategy but even once decided upon it is not uncommon for the analysis of the business performance against the Strategy to be overlooked due to more immediate corporate pressures.
